Q: Will this fit my truck?

A: This mount fits any standard 2" x 2" rear receiver hitch, which is the most common receiver size on pickup trucks, full-size SUVs, and many vans. Please measure your receiver opening before ordering.

Q: What weight can it tow?

A: Weight capacity depends on which ball or hook you use. The 1-7/8" ball is rated for lighter loads, the 2" ball for medium loads, and the 2-5/16" ball / pintle hook for heavy loads. See the Specifications table for exact ratings. Always respect the lowest rating in your entire towing setup.

Q: Do I need a separate hitch pin?

A: Yes. This listing includes the triple ball mount only. You will need a standard 5/8" hitch pin and clip (or hitch lock) to secure it in your receiver, sold separately.

Q: Can I use the pintle hook with a regular ball coupler?

A: No. The pintle hook is designed for lunette ring (eye-style) couplers only. Standard trailer couplers must be used with one of the three hitch balls.

Q: Is this mount adjustable in height (drop/rise)?

A: This is a straight (flat) mount. It does not provide built-in drop or rise. The dual pin holes allow you to choose the mounting height within the receiver, but it will not level a significantly high or low trailer. If you need a drop/rise mount, please check our adjustable hitch line.

Q: Will the black finish rust?

A: The mount is coated with a black powder coat that resists rust and corrosion. However, no finish is indestructible — we recommend rinsing off road salt and inspecting the finish periodically.
